We're in the final countdown to the Tumblr ban on NSFW content. Clearly this is going to have an enormous impact on the spanko community and the blogroll will be drastically cut back. Some sites have already packed up and gone. Others have moved to different platforms - some us those are currently even more flaky than Tumblr but in time and with the extra revenue they can generate now, maybe they'll get better. Other sites are favouring pointing visitors to their Twitter address as a temporary backstop.
So what am I doing?
For now the existing blogroll stays but I'm adding a NEW Blogroll below the original which is where I will add existing blogs that use a non-Tumblr platform and new locations for Tumblr refugees as and when I find them. Because a lot of the the new sites don't appear to have an RSS feed it will be difficult to see when they update hence the NEW Blogroll will be in alphabetical order. I will delete blogs from the original blogroll only when they have ceased exist. Also, below the NEW blogroll I've started a list of Twitter sites. It's early days - most of the twits I follow on there haven't even been added as yet but I'll get there - it's just taking a lot of time.
